The Memory and Motor Laboratory (MEMORY Lab) and the Humain Brain Control of Locomotion Lab (HBCL) are interested in exploring the use of exercise to improve sleep in persons living with Parkinson’s.

We conduct multidisciplinary research on how exercise can be used to improve sleep and if better sleep can improve your cognitive and motor function, as well as your quality of life!

A team of personal trainers and researchers will design a structured exercise program to maximize safety and efficacy.

We will study the effects of exercise on sleep quality to find out whether there is a mode of exercise that is best.
