McGill University
Anke is a postdoctoral fellow at the Memory Lab. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports and Movement Science and her master’s in Biomedical Kinesiology at KU Leuven University in Belgium, before completing her PhD in Cognitive and Motor Neuroscience at the University of Utah.
Her research focuses on motor learning and memory consolidation across the lifespan, with a particular emphasis on children. By combining functional and structural neuroimaging techniques, Anke investigates the brain mechanisms that support learning and retention—bringing new insights into how our ability to move, adapt, and remember develops over time.
