Jacopo graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Science from the University of Brescia (Italy) in 2016 and with a Master’s degree in Sports Science and Physical Performance from University of Verona (Italy) in 2018. He graduated from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) where he pursed a Master’s degree in Public Health and Exercise and where he was filling the role of researcher assistant. Jacopo is currently at McGill University, conducting his doctorate studies. His research project investigates the effects of different exercise interventions on sleep quality and architecture in persons with Parkinson’s disease, exploring whether exercise-induced sleep improvements can result in enhancements in cognition and motor learning in this clinical population. The study will provide relevant information to optimize sleep treatments in persons with Parkinson.
